Urea is a raw fabric for the manufacture of organic resins and is used as protein denaturant sealant and in agriculture, dyes, fuels, functional fluids, intermediates, paint additives and coating additives. Urea is used as a nitrogen-release fertilizer, on-corroding alternative to rock salt for road de-icing, browning agent in factory-produced pretzels, cloud seeding agent, a deep eutectic solvent and type of ionic liquid.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.

Anwendungen
Harnstoff ist ein Rohmaterial für die Herstellung organischer Harze und wird als Proteindenaturierungsmittel und in der Landwirtschaft, in Farbstoffen, Kraftstoffen, Funktionsflüssigkeiten, Zwischenprodukten, Lackzusätzen und Beschichtungszusätzen verwendet. Harnstoff wird als Stickstofffreisetzungsdünger, als nicht-korrodierende Alternative zu Steinsalz für die Straßenenteisung, als Röstmittel in werkseitig hergestellten Brezeln, als Wolkenimpfungsmittel, als stark eutektisches Lösungsmittel und als eine Art Ionenflüssigkeit verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasserlöslich in Wasser, Alkohol, Methanol, Glycerin, Benzol und konzentrierter Salzsäure. Praktisch unlöslich in Chloroform und Äther.

Hinweise
Stabil bei Raumtemperatur Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
