Sodium n-dodecyl sulfate 20% aq. solution is used as an anionic surfactant. It is also used as fat emulsifier, a wetting agent, a detergent in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and toothpastes. It also serves as a research tool in protein biochemistry. It is mainly used in detergents for laundry with many cleaning applications.

Anwendungen
Natrium-n-Dodecylsulfat 20 % wässrige Lösung wird als anionisches Tensid verwendet. Es wird auch als Fettemulgator, Netzmittel, Waschmittel in Kosmetika, Pharmazeutika und Zahnpasten verwendet. Es dient auch als Forschungshilfsmittel in der Proteinbiochemie. Es wird hauptsächlich in Waschmitteln für Wäschereien mit vielen Reinigungsanwendungen eingesetzt.
