Sodium L-(+)-tartrate dihydrate is used in buffers for molecular biology and cell culture applications. It is also used as an emulsifier and a binding agent in food products such as jellies, margarine, and sausage casingsand also as a food additive.

Anwendungen
Natrium L-(+)-Tartrat-Dihydrat wird in Puffern für molekularbiologische und Zellkulturanwendungen verwendet. Wird auch als Emulgator und Bindemittel in Lebensmitteln wie Gelees, Margarinen und Wurstpellen sowie als Lebensmittelzusatzstoff verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Ist wasserlöslich (290 mg/ml bei 20 °C). Unlöslich in Alkohol und organischen Lösungsmitteln.

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Unverträglich mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
