Bis zu 8 x 10⁸ Viruspartikel können in weniger als einer Stunde gewonnen werden. Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Ultrazentrifugationsverfahren ist die Virusreinigung mit Vivapure LentiSELECT ist schnell und einfach, ohne dass teure Geräte wie eine Ultrazentrifuge benötigt werden. Darüber hinaus führt dieses chromatographische Verfahren im Gegensatz zum groben Ultrazentrifugenpellet zu reinen Virusproben. So wird eine höhere Reproduzierbarkeit und eine höhere Effizienz beim Gentransfer erreicht.
