(S)-(+)-3-Amino-1-Boc-piperidine is used to prepare selective noncovalent inhibitors of the bacterial cysteine protease IdeS. The product obtained by the reductive elimination reaction with ethylglyoxalte is used as a reference compound, which is used to determine the absolute configuration of the two enantiomers.

Anwendungen
(S)-(+)-3-Amin-1-bocpiperidin wird zur Herstellung selektiver nichtkovalenter Inhibitoren bei bakteriellen Cystein-Protease-IDEs verwendet. Das durch die reduktive Eliminierungsreaktion mit Ethylglyoxalten gewonnene Produkt wird als Referenzverbindung verwendet, die zur Bestimmung der absoluten Konfiguration der beiden Enantiomere verwendet wird.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Dimethylsulfoxid.

Hinweise
Luft- und Kohlendioxid-empfindlich. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln, starken Säuren und Basen. Kühl lagern.
