Descrizione

Poly(styrol-divinylbenzol) wird als chromatographisches Trennmedium verwendet. Es wird auch zur Entfernung phenolischer Inhibitoren verwendet: Hydrochinon, Hydrochinonmonomethylether und tert-Butylcatechol. Es wird häufig als Säulenpackungsmaterial in der Flüssigkeitschromatographie zur Trennung von organischen und anorganischen Ionen verwendet. Das Styrol-Divinylbenzol-Copolymer wird in der anorganischen Spurenanalytik zur Vorkonzentrierung mittels Festphasenextraktion eingesetzt.
