Description

Piperazine acts as an intermediate for pharmaceuticals, polymers, dyes, corrosion inhibitors, rubber accelerators and surfactants. It is used as a raw material in the manufacture of plastics, polyamide resins, urethane and brake fluid. It is also used for carbondioxide and hydrogen sulfide gas scrubbing mediums. Furthermore, it serves as an epoxy curing agent.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. Anwendungen
Piperazin dient als Zwischenprodukt für Arzneimittel, Polymere, Farbstoffe, Korrosionsschutzmittel, Kautschukbeschleuniger und Tenside. Es wird als Rohstoff bei der Herstellung von Kunststoffen, Polyamidharzen, Urethan und Bremsflüssigkeit eingesetzt. Es wird auch für Kohlendioxid- und Schwefelwasserstoffgaswaschmedien verwendet. Darüber hinaus dient es als Epoxidhärter.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasser, Chloroform, Glycerin, Glykol und Alkohol. Schwer löslich in Benzol und Heptan. Unlöslich im Äther.

Hinweise
Luft- und lichtempfindlich. Hygroskopisch. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln und starken Säuren.
