Beschreibung

Perfluoro(methylcyclohexane) is used as a solvent to determine fluorophilicity of hydrocarbon and fluorocarbon-functionalized nicotinic acid esters. It combines with chloroform and acts as an ingredient for fluorous biphase reactions. Furthermore, it finds application as a heat transfer agent, a dielectric fluid and a perfluorocarbon tracer. It acts as a good solvent for gases.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. Anwendungen
Perfluor-(methylcyclohexan) wird als Lösungsmittel zur Bestimmung der Fluorophilizität von Kohlenwasserstoff- und Fluorkohlenstoff-funktionalisierten Nikotinsäureestern verwendet. Verbindet sich mit Chloroform und dient als Bestandteil für “fluorhaltige” Biphasenreaktionen. Darüber hinaus findet es Anwendung als Wärmeträger, Dielektrikum und Perfluorkohlenstofftracer. Es ist ein gutes Lösungsmittel für Gase.

Löslichkeit
Mischbar mit Aceton und Benzol.

Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
