p-Xylene is used as a precursor in the production of benzoic, isophthalic, tetraphillic acids and dimethyle esters, which are used in the manufacture of polyester. It acts as an intermediate in plastic and rubber products.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. Anwendungen
P-Xylol wird als Ausgangsstoff bei der Herstellung von Benzoic-, Isophthal-, Tetraphillsäuren sowie Dimethyl-Estern verwendet, die bei der Polyesterherstellung zum Einsatz kommen. Dient als Zwischenprodukt für Kunststoff- und Gummiprodukte.

Löslichkeit
Mischbar mit Alkohol, Äther, Aceton, Benzol und Chloroform. Nicht mit Wasser mischbar.

Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
