N,N-Diethyl-p-phenylenediamine sulfate is used for the spectrophotometric determination of drugs such as salbutamol sulphate, ritodrine hydrochloride and isoxsuprine hydrochloride containing phenolic group. It is also used in the analysis of drugs like dapsone hydrochloride, sulfamethoxazole and sulfadiazine containing aromatic amino group. Further, it is used as a color developer and film developer in photography.

Anwendungen
N,N-Diethyl-p-Phenylendiaminsulfat wird zur spektrophotometrischen Bestimmung von Medikamenten wie Salbutaminsulfat, Ritodrinhydrochlorid und Isoxsuprinhydrochlorid mit phenolischer Gruppe verwendet. Es wird auch bei der Analyse von Medikamenten wie Dapsonhydrochlorid, Sulfamethoxazol und Sulfadiazin mit einer aromatischen Aminogruppe verwendet. Darüber hinaus wird es als Farb- und Filmentwickler in der Fotografie eingesetzt.

Löslich in Wasser und Alkohol.

Hinweise
Lichtempfindlich und luftempfindlich. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
