Beschreibung

It is used as a small molecule IMPDH inhibitor. mycophenolic Acid is used as an immunosuppressive agent with antiviral and antitumor effects. It potently inhibits inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase, thus inhibiting de novo GTP synthesis leading to decreased RNA and DNA synthesis. It also reversibly inhibits proliferation of T and B lymphocytes and antibody formation.

Anwendungen
Wird als IMPDH-Inhibitor mit kleinen Molekülen verwendet. Mycophenolsäure wird als immunsuppressives Mittel mit antiviralen und antitumoralen Effekten verwendet. Hemmt die Inosin-Monophosphat-Dehydrogenase und hemmt so die De-oNvo-GTP-Synthese, was zu einer verringerten RNA- und DNA-Synthese führt. Hemmt auch reversibel die Proliferation von T- und B-Lymphozyten und die Antikörperbildung.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Methanol bei 50 mg/ml

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Empfohlene Lagertemperatur: 2 – 8 °C. Von starkem Oxidationsmittel fernhalten.
