Description

Methyl palmitate is used in the preparation of detergents, emulsifiers, wetting agents, stabilizers, resins, lubricants, plasticizers and animal feeds. It exhibits an anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic agent and prevents bleomycin-induced lung inflammation and fibrosis in rats. In addition, it also prevents carbon tetrachloride-induced liver fibrosis linked to reduce transforming growth factor beta, which is a secreted protein that controls proliferation, cellular differentiation and other functions in most cells.

Anwendungen
Methylpalmitat wird zur Herstellung von Detergenzien, Emulgatoren, Benetzungsmitteln, Stabilisatoren, Harzen, Schmierstoffen, Weichmachern und Tierfutter verwendet. Es zeigt eine entzündungshemmende und antifibrotische Wirkung und verhindert bei Ratten eine durch Bleomycin induzierte Lungenentzündung und Fibrose. Darüber hinaus verhindert es auch eine durch Kohlenstoff-Tetrachlorid-induzierte Leberfibrose, die die Transformation des Wachstumsfaktors Beta reduziert. Dies ist ein sezerniertes Protein, das die Proliferation, zelluläre Differenzierung und andere Funktionen in den meisten Zellen kontrolliert.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Ethanol, Chloroform, Dimethylsulfoxid und Dimethylformamid. Unlöslich in Wasser.

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln.
