Methyl dodecanoate used in production of biodiesel. It has been used in selective synthesis of the secondary amide surfactant, N-methyl lauroylethanolamide. It is also utilized as emollients, perfuming agents skin conditioning.

Anwendungen
Methyldodecanoat, das bei der Herstellung von Biodiesel verwendet wird. Es wurde auch zur selektiven Synthese des sekundären Amid-Tensids N-Methyllauroylethanolamid verwendet. Zudem wird es als Emolliens und Duftstoff in Hautpflegemitteln verwendet.
