Die Einbindung eines Aminoallyl-modifizierten NTP ermöglicht beispielsweise die anschließende Kopplung der reaktiven Aminogruppe an ein anderes Molekül wie Biotin oder einen Cy™ Farbstoff. Im Gegensatz zu NTPs, die direkt an einen Farbstoff gekoppelt sind, werden Aminoallyl-modifizierte NTPs fast genauso effizient wie unmodifizierte NTPs integriert und sind wesentlich kostengünstiger als die farbstoffgekoppelten NTPs. Ein Röhrchen enthält 50 mM (50 μl).
