Beschreibung

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • PRLR prolactin receptor [ Homo sapiens (human) ]
  • Also known as: HPRL; MFAB; hPRLrI; RI-PRLR
  • The Prolactin R insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
  • PRLR is a receptor for the anterior pituitary hormone, prolactin, and belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family.
  • Prolactin-dependent signaling occurs as the result of ligandinduced dimerization of the prolactin receptor.
  • Several alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different membrane-bound and soluble isoforms have been described for PRLR, which may function to modulate the endocrine and autocrine effects of prolactin in normal tissue and cancer.
