Beschreibung

This shuttle vector contains the complete ORF for the gene of interest, along with a Kozak consensus sequence for optimal translation initiation. It is inserted NotI to AscI. The gene insert is flanked with convenient multiple cloning sites which can be used to easily cut and transfer the gene cassette into your desired expression vector.

  • PRKRB4 is one of four bifunctional kinase/phosphatases that regulate the concentration of the glycolytic byproduct fructose-2,6- bisphosphate (F2,6BP).
  • It is highly expressed in cancer cells and is induced by hypoxia.
  • PRKRB4 is essential to the survival of cancer cells under conditions of hypoxia, because it increases the amount of F2,6BP and ATP at a time when the cell cannot produce much of them.
  • Alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different proteins have been described.
  • The insert is sequence verified and the entire plasmid DNA and insert translated sequences are provided.
