Recombinant Protein

Laminin 511 E8 is a truncated laminin 511, which consists of the C-terminal end of the alpha 5, beta 1, and gamma 1 chains, as one of the ECM proteins. Laminin E8s serve as functionally minimal forms that retain the full capability for binding to integrins. More importantly, laminin 511 E8 is the key matrix for feeder-free culture of human embryonic (hESC) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC). Furthermore, laminin 511 E8 could also support the self-renewal of hESC and iPSC without spontaneous differentiation, in combination with defined stem cell culture media.

No. GMP-LA1H25) is stable at 37°C for 23 days.∣The SPR based assay shows that GMP Human Laminin 511 Protein (Cat. No. GMP-LA1H25) is stable after freezing and thawing 3 times.∣The SPR based assay shows batch-to-batch consistency between Acro's GMP and PG Laminin 511.∣GMP Human Laminin 511 Protein (Cat. No. GMP-LA1H25) and Human Laminin 511 Protein, premium grade (Cat. No. LA8-H5283L) could maintain the stemness of iPSC at least Passage 5 and has similar performance. FACS data indicated that the iPSCs expressed high levels of pluripotency associated markers OCT4, SOX2, and SSEA4.∣GMP Human Laminin 511 Protein (Cat. No. GMP-LA1H25) and Human Laminin 511 Protein, premium grade (Cat. No. LA8-H5283L) could maintain the stemness of iPSC at least Passage 5 and have similar performance. Immunofluorescence staining indicated that the iPSCs expressed high levels of pluripotency associated markers OCT4, SOX2, and NANOG.
