Stain for showing collagen, muscle, cytoplasm and cells in mammalian tissuesFast Green FCF is used as a quantitative stain for histones and protein stain in electrophoresis. It is also used as a food dye, which is poorly absorbed by intestine. It is used for tinned green peas and other vegetables, jellies, sauces, fish and desserts. It is considered as a replacement of Light Green SF yellowish in Masson's trichrome. Further, it is utilized in tissue stain.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.

Anwendungen
Färbemittel für die Darstellung von Kollagen, Muskeln, Zytoplasmen und Zellen in Säugetiergeweben. Fast Green FCF wird als quantitatives Färbemittel für Histone und Proteinfärbungen in der Elektrophorese verwendet. Es wird auch als Lebensmittelfarbstoff verwendet, der vom Darm nur schwach absorbiert wird. Es wird für grüne Erbsen in Konserven und anderes Gemüse, Gelees, Saucen, Fisch und Desserts verwendet. Es gilt als Ersatz für Lichtgrün SF gelblich bei der Masson-Trichrom-Färbung. Darüber hinaus wird es bei der Färbung von Geweben verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasser, Glycerin, Glykol und Ethanol.

Hinweise
Hygroskopisch. Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln und starken Säuren.
