Description
Diethyl phthalate is used in the production of perfumes, acetyl salicylic acid, plastics and mosquito repellents. It is used in cosmetic formulations and personal care products such as sprays, nail polishes, and perfumes. It acts as an alcohol denaturant. It is also used as a camphor substitute, plasticizer in solid rocket propellants and wetting agent. It finds application as a surface lubricant in food and pharmaceutical packaging. In addition to this, it is used as a detergent base and aerosol spray.

Diethylphthalat wird bei der Herstellung von Parfums, Acetylsalicylsäure, Kunststoffen und Mückenabweisenden Mitteln verwendet. Es wird in Kosmetika und Körperpflegeprodukten wie Sprays, Nagelpolituren und Parfums verwendet. Es wirkt als Alkoholdenaturant. Es wird auch als Campher-Ersatz, Weichmacher in festen Raketentreibstoffen und Netzmittel verwendet. Es findet Anwendung als Oberflächenschmierstoff in Lebensmittel- und Pharmaverpackungen. Darüber hinaus wird es als Waschmittelbasis und Aerosolspray verwendet.
Löslichkeit
Mischbar mit Ethanol, Chloroform, Diethylether, Benzol, Aceton, Pflanzenölen, Ketonen, Kohlenstofftetrachlorid, Estern, aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen und Methanol. Leicht mischbar mit Wasser und aliphatischen Lösungsmitteln.
Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit starken Oxidationsmitteln, starken Säuren, Permanganaten und Alkalien. Kühl lagern.
