Anwendungen
Cyclophosphamid-Monohydrat wird zur Behandlung von Krebserkrankungen, Autoimmunerkrankungen und AL-Amyloidose verwendet. Es ist ein Stickstoffsenfalkylierungsmittel und reagiert mit Desoxyribonukleinsäure (DNA), um sein alkyliertes Derivat zu erhalten. Es wird auch in der Krebsforschung verwendet, da es ein Werkzeug ist, das Apoptose in Tumorzellen induziert.

Löslichkeit
Wasserlöslich. Schwer lösliches Ethanol, Benzol, Ethylenglycol, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff, Dioxan, Äther, Aceton, Alkohol und Chloroform.
