Cyclohexylmagnesium chloride is used as a Grignard reagent in greener solvent, 2-methyltetrahydrofuran (2-MeTHF). It is used as a reagent for the introduction of the cyclohexyl group; metalation of CH-acidic compounds.

Anwendungen
