Cyanamide is used as an intermediate in the production of pharmaceuticals and other organic compounds. It is also used as an alcohol deterrent drug. It is widely used as plant growth regulator, agrochemical and fertilizer.

Anwendungen
Cyanamid wird als Zwischenprodukt bei der Herstellung von Pharmazeutika und anderen organischen Verbindungen verwendet. Es wird auch als Alkoholaversivum verwendet. Es wird häufig als Pflanzenwachstumsregulator, Agrochemikalie und Düngemittel eingesetzt.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasser, Butanol, Methylethylketon, Ethylacetat, Alkoholen, Phenolen, Chloroform, Aminen und Ethern. Schwer löslich in Kohlenstoffdisulfid. Unlöslich in Cyclohexan.

Hinweise
Nicht kompatibel mit Bariumperoxid, Borsäure, trockenem Wasserstoff und Wasserstoffperoxid.
