Cumene is used in the production of phenol and acetone. It is used as a thinner for paints, lacquers, and enamels and as a component of high octane fuels. It is used in the manufacture of phenol, acetone, acetophenone, and methylstyrene.

Anwendungen
Cumol wird bei der Herstellung von Phenol und Aceton verwendet. Es wird als Verdünner für Farben, Lacke und Emaille sowie als Bestandteil von hochoktanigen Kraftstoffen verwendet. Es wird zur Herstellung von Phenol, Aceton, Acetophenon und Methylstyrol verwendet.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Alkohol, Ether, Aceton, Benzol, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff. Unlöslich in Wasser.

Hinweise
Bei 2–8 °C lagern. Vermeiden Sie längeren Kontakt mit Luft. Nicht kompatibel mit Säuren, oxidierenden Materialien.
