Chromium(III) potassium sulfate is used for tanning of leather and as a photographic film hardener. It is used in manufacturing of chromium-containing catalyst.It is used in mordantin in printing and dyeing industry and it could also be used as analytical reagent. In addition, it is also used as food additive.

Anwendungen
Chrom(III)-Kaliumsulfat wird für die Gerbung von Leder und als photographischer Filmhärter verwendet. Es wird bei der Herstellung von chromhaltigen Katalysatoren verwendet, es wird in Beizmittel in der Druck- und Färbeindustrie verwendet und kann auch als analytisches Reagenz verwendet werden. Außerdem wird es auch als Lebensmittelzusatzstoff verwendet.
