Description
Amberlite™ IRC-748, ion exchange resin is used as a chelating resin with high affinity for heavy metal cations compared to alkali or alkaline earth metals. It is also utilized in metal-chelation applications. Further, it is used in purification of brine in the chloralkali industry as well as the purification of process streams having trace metals. In addition to this, it is used in the electroplating industry and in the recovery of heavy metals from hydrometallurgical leach streams.

The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.
Amberlite|r IRC-748, Ionenaustauschharz wird als chelatbildendes Harz mit hoher Affinität für Schwermetallkationen im Vergleich zu Alkali- und Erdalkalimetallen verwendet. Es wird auch in Metallchelationsanwendungen genutzt. Darüber hinaus wird es zur Reinigung von Sole in der Chloralkali-Industrie sowie zur Reinigung von Prozessströmen mit Spurenmetallen verwendet. Außerdem wird es in der Galvanikindustrie und bei der Rückgewinnung von Schwermetallen aus hydrometallurgischen Laugströmen eingesetzt.
