Aluminum acetate, basic hydrate is used in medicine as an astringent and an antiseptic. It is also used as a mordant in dyeing, waterproofing and fireproofing agent. Further, it acts as a disinfectant in embalming and a dusting powder. In addition to this, it is used in antiperspirants.

Anwendungen
Aluminiumacetat-Basishydrat wird in der Medizin als Adstringens und Antiseptikum verwendet. Es wird auch als Beizmittel zum Färben, zum Imprägnieren und als Brandschutzmittel verwendet. Darüber hinaus wirkt es als Desinfektionsmittel bei der Einbalsamierung und als Staubpulver. Darüber hinaus wird es in Antiperspirantien eingesetzt.
