Description

Alpha-Galactosidase-Substrat für Lac-Gen-Detektionssysteme

5-Bromo-3-indolyl-β-D-galactopyranoside is an α-galactosidase substrate which is converted to an insoluble indigo-blue chromophore darker than that released by X-GAL. It is ideal for Lac gene detection systems in immunoblotting, immunocytochemical, and histological applications. Also used as chromogenic substrate that is suitable for identification of lac-(+) bacterial colonies.

Anwendungen
5-Bromo-3-Indolyl-β-D-Galactopyranosid ist ein α-Galactosidase-Substrat, das in ein unlösliches indigoblaues Chromophor umgewandelt wird, das dunkler ist als das von X-GAL freigesetzte. Es ist ideal für Lac Gen-Detektionssysteme für Immunblotting, Immunzytochemie und histologische Anwendungen. Es wird auch als chromogenes Substrat verwendet, das zur Identifizierung von lac-(+) Bakterienkolonien geeignet ist.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Dimethylformamid (100 mg/ml), Dimethylformamid/Wasser (1:1 v/v) (10 mg/ml - klare, praktisch farblose Lösung).

Hinweise
Im Tiefkühlschrank bei (-20 °C) lagern. Den Behälter dicht verschlossen halten. Von Oxidationsmitteln entfernt aufbewahren.
