4-Nitrobenzoyl chloride is used in the preparation of polysubstituted furanonaphthoquinoines. It is also involved in Michael addition, Henry reaction, O-alkylation and cycloaddition reactions. Further, it is employed as an intermediate in active pharmaceutical ingredient and dyes.

Anwendungen
4-nitrobenzoylchlorid wird bei der Herstellung von polysubstituierten Furan-Naphthochinoinen verwendet. Ist auch an der Michael Addition, der Henry-Reaktion, der O-Alkylierung sowie an Cycloadditionsreaktionen beteiligt. Wird darüber hinaus als Zwischenprodukt in pharmazeutischen Wirkstoffen und in Farbstoffen eingesetzt.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Tetrahydrofuran, Dichlormethan, Chloroform und Pyridin.

Hinweise
Feuchtigkeitsempfindlich. Nicht kompatibel mit Wasser, Alkoholen, Oxidationsmitteln und starken Basen.
