4-Hydroxythiophenol is used to improve charge separation in PbSe quantum dots (QDs) as sensitizers for TiO2. It helps in the activation of neocarzinostatin-chromophore. Also used as a resin monomer in the study of the different gold nanocrystal core-resin shell structures

Anwendungen
4-Hydroxythiophenol wird zur Verbesserung der Ladungstrennung in PbSe-Quantenpunkten (QDs) als Sensibilisatoren für TiO2 verwendet. Es hilft bei der Aktivierung von Neocarzinostatin-Chromophore. Wird auch als Harzmonomer bei der Untersuchung der verschiedenen Strukturen der Goldnanokristal-Kernharz-Schale verwendet
