It is mainly used in air dried and baking enamels, epoxy, polyurethane and polyester based paints. It is also used in printing inks for bank and security documents.

Anwendungen
3,4,9,10-Perylentetracarboxyl-Dianhydrid ist ein wichtiger Rohstoff und ein Zwischenprodukt für die organische Synthese, Pharmazeutika und Agrochemikalien. Es wird hauptsächlich in Lufttrocknungs- und Einbrennlacken sowie in Farben auf Basis von Epoxid, Polyurethan und Polyester verwendet. Es wird auch in Druckfarben für Bank- und Sicherheitsdokumente verwendet.

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Sie ist empfindlich gegenüber Feuchtigkeit. Es ist von Natur aus hygroskopisch.
