As intermediate in orgaic syntheses. Phthalides were obtained in low yields by palladium-assisted cyclization of 2-vinylbenzoic acid and 2-(2-methyl-2-propenyl)- benzoic acid.

Anwendungen
Als Zwischenprodukt in orgaischen Synthesen. Phthalide werden durch Palladium-unterstützte Cyclisierung von 2-Vinylbenzoesäure und 2-(2-methyl-2-propenyl)-Benzoesäure bei niedrigen Ausbeuten gewonnen.

Hinweise
Kühl lagern. Behälter an einem trockenen und gut belüfteten Ort dicht verschlossen halten. Von starken Oxidationsmitteln und Hitze fernhalten.
