2-Imidazolidinone hemihydrate is used as a scavenger for formaldehyde. It is utilized for removal of formaldehyde from leather, rubber and textile coating. It is also used as a raw material for the preparation of active pharmaceutical ingredients like azlocillin sodium.

Anwendungen
