Als Saatdesinfektionsmittel, Textilien, als organischer Katalysator, als chemisches Zwischenprodukt, als Additiv in Farbstoffbindern, als Antifouling-Mittel. Es wird auch zur Steuerung von Blaualgen in Teichen, Seen und Schwimmbädern verwendet. Es wird auch als wichtiger Katalysator zur Herstellung von 3,3-Dichlorbenzin verwendet.
Löslichkeit
In Wasser löslich (0.008 g/l). Löslich in heißem Toluol fast transparent.
Hinweise
Kühl und trocken in dicht verschlossenen Behältern lagern. Von Oxidationsmitteln entfernt aufbewahren.
