Beschreibung

1-Naphthaldehyde is used in the synthesis of single-crystalline homochiral porous metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). It is also a starting material for the Canizzaro reaction to produce 1-Naphthoic acid and 1-Naphthalenemethanol.

Anwendungen
1-Naphthaldehyd wird bei der Synthese von einzelkristallinen homochiralen porösen metallorganischen Gerüsten (MOF) verwendet. Ist auch ein Ausgangsmaterial für die Canizzaro-Reaktion zur Herstellung von 1-Naphthoinsäure und 1-Naphthalinmethanol.
