1,3,5-Benzenetricarboxylic acid is used for the preparation of plastic, man-madefiber, water soluble alkyl resin, plasticizer and medicament intermediate. It is also used as a pharmaceutical intermediate, epoxy curing agent, plasticizers, adhesive and coating material. Further, it combines with para-hydroxypyridine to make a water-based gel.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. Anwendungen
1,3,5-Benzoldicarbonsäure wird zur Herstellung von Kunststoff, Kunstfaser, wasserlöslichem Alkylharz, Weichmacher und Arzneimittelzwischenprodukt verwendet. Wird auch als pharmazeutisches Zwischenprodukt, Epoxidhärter, Weichmacher, Klebstoff und Beschichtungsmaterial verwendet. Kombiniert sich darüber hinaus mit Parahydroxypyridin zu einem Gel auf Wasserbasis.

Löslichkeit
Löslich in Wasser, Ethanol und Methanol.

Hinweise
